At the moment, we're reviewing our 2024 experiences and making plans for this season. We had a wonderful time, and we hope to continue in that same spirit. Please stay patient; we'll update this page soon with more information.
In the meantime, let your imagination wander as you review our daily schedule, the upcoming retreats will follow the same structure.
SCHEDULE EXAMPLE:
A typical day at Jaliya Camp could include:
Morning Yoga (7:30 - 8:30): Start your day with a rejuvenating yoga session before breakfast.
Breakfast (8:30 - 9:30): Senegalese-style breakfast.
Dancing (10:00 - 11:00): Immerse yourself in the energy of African dance.
Drumming (11:15 - 12:15): Learn the rhythms of the djembe before lunch.
Free Time (12:15 - 13:30): Relax, explore the surroundings, or chat with fellow participants.
Lunch (13:30 - 14:30): Enjoy the rich flavors of traditional Senegalese cuisine.
Afternoon Workshops (17:30-18.30): Choose between kora or singing workshops to deepen your skills.
Sunset (18.30-19.15) Take a moment to relax, reflect, and enjoy the magic of nature while the sun sets in the Atlantic Ocean.
Dinner (19:30 - 20:30): Taste authentic Senegalese cuisine.
Evenings: Gather around the fire for music and jam sessions, dive into deep conversations, or just relax and gaze at the starlit sky. Whether playing games or hanging out, each evening offers a chance to create lasting memories.

The travel guarantee is a financial protection for travellers when a trip is canceled or canceled in the event of insolvency. Anyone who arranges or sells travel arrangements subject to the provisions of the Travel Guarantees Act (1972:204) must lodge a travel guarantee with Kammarkollegiet before these arrangements can be marketed or sold.
